Blaine Prescott holds an MFA in fiction from the University of Oregon and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Houston, where he is a Cullen Foundation Chair Fellow. He won the Inprint Alexander Prize in Fiction in 2020 and the Inprint Donald Barthelme Prize in Poetry in 2021. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Idaho Review, Southeast Review, Notre Dame Review, Shenandoah, Ninth Letter, and Story. He is from Kentucky.
